This year may have been one of my all time favorites. The Mad Hatter and the Cheshire Cat. Kennedy was far more into it than McKenna, but they both seemed pretty darn happy with their choices. Not sure how we’ll top it next year!

McKenna has made some of the best friends this year.  I couldn’t be more thrilled that she is with the best teacher imaginable as well as these girls!!  Just love them!!

Can’t believe the summer is officially gone. I’m going to seriously miss these faces.

Big day for both the Bagyi girls. While we’ve stayed at friends homes before overnight, neither one of them have ever had an official “sleepover” with their friends away from us. It was weird saying good-bye to McKenna and knowing I won’t see her again until tomrrow morning…on the brightside, we get to keep Alliegirl overnight, Kennedys soul sister. :) It’ll be the first night the girls have ever spent apart from one another since they were born…and I couldn’t think of a better friend than Allie to be there with Kennedy for this “first”. Hope they always remember this special night!

She was so excited to show us her adorable routine tonight. I was so excited to capture it on my big camera in all its glory. And in six years, I have never once forgotten my memory card. Until tonight. Thank god for the iPhone but man, her performance commanded something better than blurry grainy underexposed iPhone pics. Nonetheless, she was amazing. And I am so flipping proud of that little girl tonight. As was her big sister who paid for an ice cream celebration with her own allowance money. #bestillmyheart #bothofthem

It was sorta amazing that McKenna and her “bestie” (I hate that word frankly) got to be the two lead ladybugs. Gina landed “grouchy” and McKenna scored “nice”. I was so proud of both of these ladies!!  Great way to start wrapping up kindergarten!

Ps.  Her outfit and socks?! Omg, I love her so freaking much.

I don’t even know what’s happening here, but it makes me smile, so I’ll blog it.

Hard to believe it’s that time already….our Bean is growing up way too quickly. But boy are we blessed to have had some of the most amazing people by her side on this special day of her. May she always feel as loved as she did today.

After much begging, Shelfy decided we couldn’t let the girls go another year without riding the Polar Express…it wont’ be long before they’re no longer so into all this Christmas Magic, so it makes sense to soak up as much magic as we can between now and then. I’d say it was a pretty perfect evening. :)

I freaking loved seeing my little one finally up on that VES stage. She may have been a bit exhausted at the end but boy, she did a pretty amazing job. #proudmomma

She calls her favorites Mr. I’ve been Mr. Mom for a year now. It’s really quite adorable.

The Bagyis favorite time of year!!

Someone was very excited to have daddy surprise her at class today!! Too bad she thought his eyes are green so she sat down when the clue revealed the reader has blue…so it really was quite a surprise!

The Bagyis had their first annual holiday party. I think it was a hit. Perhaps we should do it again?

First reconciliation- check! Pretty proud of my girl…first in line and ready to go! Love that she gets to experience this with some truly wonderful friends…

Guess who got glasses?? Thankfully, she is pretty stoked about it! And they look pretty darn cute on her if I do say so myself…

Someone was really shy (or “embarassed” as she would say) about their costume this year. I don’t know why because I personally thought it was beyond adorable. But she refused to keep the hat on unless I begged her. The parade was a bit overwhelming frankly…having the whole school cheering for you and wanting high fives. But all was good when she saw her big sister waiting at the bottom of the stairs for her. The way Kennedy looked at her with such pride warmed my heart…and McKennas (even if she does a good job hiding it).

Sorta loved their cosumes this year. Even if McKenna wasn’t a big fan…

And it’s pumpkin carving day at the Bagyis. :)

No doubt this is their favorite game of the year when daddy is blowing leaves. It’s quite hysterical…

I don’t even know where to start with this one. I can’t decide what’s more awesome. The fact that she’s made her own desk out of a dolls chair and a step stool…or the fact that she has a bag of “stuff” that she is pulling out one by one and “stretching” the names of each item and recording it in her little book. Gosh this kid brightens my world.

There are a few perks associated with Kennedy’s peanut allergy. Being allowed on every field trip she takes is one of them. I flipping love watching her with her friends…amazing friends she’ll hopefully have for the rest of her life.

She thinks she’s pretty funny.

I think that soccer is a much better fit for McKenna than it was for Kennedy. She was pretty aweome out there this fall…

Finally really got back into our woods after 2 years of living here…Kennedy wants it cleared and to turn it into Camp McKennedy. I think she was meant to be a woodchuck.

We’ve been waiting years for this moment. The two of them off together to the same school. I can’t describe how happy I am for them that they will have each other everday…and that they live in such an amazing community of teachers, people and friends. #lifeisgood

Can’t believe it’s over. Felt so real dropping off school supplies and seeing their classrooms after a morning of banking and haircuts. Haha

So excited for this new chapter in McKenna’s life. So is she. :)

Just a little last minute getaway to the Cape before summer comes to an end…

What else is there to do in August really?

Finally got on the Albany Rail Trail tonight. The girls enjoyed the exploring more so than the walking. #wehavealotofleaves #itsnotevenfallyet

Despite the fall temps, we refuse to give up on summer…even if it’s in small 15 minute doses.

Gosh we love this place…

As a former runner, I’m sorta embarrassed that at 5 & 7, this is their first “race”. Kennedy loved it and can’t wait to do it again. McKenna on the other hand…well, let’s just say someone doesn’t like losing. Even when everyone gets a metal. ????

Not sure I’ve ever seen a child so excited about pencils, folders and crayons. My girl beamed from ear to ear this afternoon.

Such an amazing amazing week. Can’t believe we have to wait a year to go back….

Still figuring out the kinks of this place, but it’s safe to say it’s a new happy spot for the girlies…
