>We had a fan-friggin-tastic Halloween. It was freezing, but we were all just happy that the rain held off for us this year. We again headed over to the ‘Piro’s to hit up their neighbors. It was so nice to have all of the kids join in this year! I’d say the girls made out pretty good. McKenna did need to stop and take inventory after every house to be sure no candy was lost along the way. Kennedy was amazing at how well she knew which candy she should not eat. With each candy she received that she knew she couldn’t eat (like peanut butter cups or m&ms), she’d race up to Molly and happily drop it in her bag. At 3, we were so proud and amazed at her maturity regarding the whole thing. After the ‘Piro’s, we headed over to the Smileys for some more peanut-free candy and snuggle time before heading home to safeguard our home against any angry trick-or-treaters. Hope everyone’s halloween was as happy as ours!
