We love our sundays!

Piggie Tails!
We FINALLY have hit the point where a) she’ll let me do her hair and b) she has enough hair to do something with.
But because it’s always behind her and she can’t see it, she insists that I take a photo every time I do something to it so she can see. 9 times outta 10 she grins ear to ear when I show her and exclaims “I love it!”.
One of those little moments I’m vowing now to never forget…
First Grade, here she comes!
Can’t believe she’s in first grade. How in the world did this happen?!
Sand-er-oni!
It seems like just yesterday we dropped Kennedy off to pre-k with Mrs. Sandroni and McKenna and I headed home to chill by ourselves. Today, we left her in pre-k. Which feels so different than Nursery…to think in just one short year she’ll be walking hand in hand into v’ville elementary school with her sister. I can’t believe the way the years have flown by…and how proud I am of the strong self confident and smart little girls they have both become…
Photobomber!!
So long summer
We snuck in one last quickie vacation before our summer comes to an end and the girls head back to school….I’d say it was a most perfect way to close the book on Summer 2013.
That’s what friends are for…
A good friend is one who braves holding up a kid not much smaller than herself (and in cleats!) to help her get from one end of the rings to the other. Kennedy just loves the heck out of her Allie. :)
ACC Camp
I’ve always loved summers…but this summer was by far my favorite yet. I dont’ know if it was all the new friends we made, or the countless hours spent laughing and playing at the pool…or watching the girls blossom at summer camp with some of the most caring people we’ve ever met. Perhaps it was all of it. We are so luck to be a part of the ACC community. These friends will never be forgotten and we’ll be counting down the days until we see them again next June…
Girls Day Out
Just a few days left of summer with my little ladies. Decided to make the most of it by heading up to the track for one last peek at the horses…and top it off with a little ride on the Carousel. Shoot, I’m REALLY going to miss this {tear}
Friends and Butterflies
Sometimes, it’s the little quiet moments like this that will stick with them for a lifetime to come.
Mini Golf
All summer we’ve been wanting to mini golf and just haven’t had the chance really…well, more like we never made it a priority. Boy are we kicking ourselves. Since our first attempt, McKenna asks every. single. day. if we can go back. She’s a tad bit obsessed. And frankly, pretty darn good!
V’vill Fire Truck Ride
I think it’s safe to say that we picked a good thing to bid on at this years Voorheesville Gala. The girls and their friends had a pretty amazing afternoon thanks to some wonderful and caring firefighters. Have I mentioned how much we love it here in Voorheesville??
The toothfairies first visit
Gosh, she was one VERY excited little girl today. :)
Spontaneous us
Track day!
Sleepover room
Vacation isn’t over yet!
Saying goodbye
Beach day!
Good morning sweet sunshine
Dear Toothfairy…
Backstroke
Even after a struggle getting through the freestyle heat, she mustered her strength and went for a second shot at the backstroke. I think she found her thing. I was one proud momma this evening. I’m gonna miss these swim meets. Can’t even wait till next year…she’s gonna rock it!
Moon
Reason 8,000,567 I love my husband more than life itself….
He happens to notice the moon is a crescent while turning on the driveway lights and immediately runs upstairs to an almost asleep Kennedy to show her…all because she asked over an hour ago what type of moon might show up tonight.
Swooooooon.
Future Dive Team?
Someone was desperate to learn how to dive today. She had some awesome “coaches” today. So thankful for the girls who aren’t too old or cool to show the littles some love. :)

Parade Day
Happy 6th Birthday Bean!
Despite the rain, we grinned at Mother Nature and went to the Great Escape on Kennedy’s birthday. We weren’t goin to let a little rain ruin our tradition now were we?
Instead of pics (not wanting to lug my big camera around), I decided on a few iPhone videos instead. I think they captured the fun just perfectly. :-)

Happy Party Day babes!
We’re 4 and 6. No better day than that spent with friends, family and lots and lots of food. :)

Graduation Day!
Can’t even believe Kindergarten is officially over and the next time she steps into this school, she’ll be a first grader. Time must. slow. down.
Holes in your ears anyone?
She’s been buggin’ us for a while now…quite a while now…and we couldn’t decide the best time to break down and finally tell her she could pierce her ears. Her Kindergarten Graduation was all of a sudden here and man, that’s a HUGE deal! So we felt it was only appropriate to reward her with a pretty huge gift. And what better way to reveal the surprise than in her graduation card so she would read it out loud….do ya think she was a wee bit excited??
And since it just didn’t sit right to leave Missy Lous out since she too graduated just last week…we let her join in on the fun. :)
Field Day!
After two rain dates, we had a most perfect day for our first v’ville field day! Kennedy had a blast and I loved watching that fun competitive side come flying out of her. Man, kids are fun. :)
How she sleeps
My helper
Sometimes one on one time is just so much fun.
“What’d we neeeeeed!?”
Drama Kids
We had heard from so many people that this program was wonderful for their children…and they were right. Kennedy loved spending a year preparing for her big stage performance. She went from being a pretty darn shy kid to feeling confident and comfortable up on stage in front of a huge audience. I couldn’t have been more proud of my little star…
Rain Dance
It’s May. We’d waited so long for it to be warm again so we can play outside. So we aren’t going to let a little bit of rain stop us.
Curious George
They do some pretty adorable projects in Kindergarten. We especially loved this one where George came home with us for an evening and got to experience all the fun things we do at the Bagyi household. Kennedy took wonderful care of sweet little Georgey. :)
Growin’ up
Could she be any prettier?? I know I’m biased and all, but for realzies…she’s just gorgeous.
And one of missy lou lous…just so her from head to toe. :)
Dandelion Fun
Just a little dandelion fun with my littlest little this morning. Gosh I love her.
Freckle
I’m really diggin’ the new freckle that just magically appeared right above her upper lip this past month. It’s utterly adorable. I pray she thinks so too someday. :)
Soccer gal
Perhaps we have a second runner on our hands?? Girl can MOVE!
Carry in, Carry out…
Our new carry in, carry out policy isn’t being very well abided to now is it? And I couldn’t even bring myself to photograph the floor…
Baby Animals
We LOVE baby animal day at Indian Ladder Farms. But really, we just love ILF no matter what day it is.
Hiking
We made it through one of our first official hikes with only a teeny bit of whining and complaining….mixed in with a little rain and mud, one lost shoe and some very tired ladies. Believe it or not, I’ll call that a success. :)
A baby turtle friend
John has the best pair of eyes ever. He spots the most amazing little creatures hanging out in our yard all the time. This one takes the cake though. Seriously….there are no words to describe how flipping adorable this baby turtle was. We only kept him for a few short minutes before releasing him back to our yard…I hope he fairs well and grows into a big beautiful happy turtle!
Steal my fry
Sorta totally and completely love this new adorable game they play. :)
Feet dippin’
Our new little Thursday tradition (weather permitting)…they could stay there all afternoon just chillin’.
Have I mentioned I love v’ville??
Zoo!
LOVE that we got season passes to the zoo this year. I could live there…it’s sometimes a wonder I didn’t end up working with animals…there are few places I feel as at peace as I do when surrounded by animals. Their instincts, habits and general ways of living intrigue me to no end. Perhaps in another lifetime…
Let it grow….
I love Voorheesville. I love everything about it. I love that the kids planted potatoes in the school garden today that they’ll eventually harvest for school lunches. I love that I was able to be there to help. Man do I feel lucky….
Two Wheels down
Teachers Pet?
LOVING this email we got from Carrie Nowik today. Makes me want to sneak into her school, scoop her up and smother her with kisses from head to toe.
Boston!!
Some things never change. It’s been her favorite city since the day we drove into it and she gasped seeing the large buildings…and she still insists it’ll be her home someday. We took a quickie overnight trip there and hit up our favorite spots, the Children’s Museum and Duck Tours…along with lots and lots of eating and drinking. :)
Missy Lous
Just so perfectly our missy lou lous :)
Happy Birthday Bailey Brown!
10 years old….sweet and grey. Best dog any family could ask for. May you live forever sweet Bailey Brown….
Easter
Future Rollerderby Chick?
Every since she got the rollerblades from the Easter Bunny, alllllll she wants to do is skate. Like all day every day. And wants me to put on “rollerskating” music outside. Whatever the heck that means.
Paint ‘da eggs
I have never particularly enjoyed the process of dipping the eggs in plastic egg cups, waiting 5 minutes and pulling them out. So this year, we decided to pull out the water colors and let the girls go to town on them. WAY more fun. :)
