>Christmas Recap

>I am so behind on my personal pictures it’s not even funny. I finally got a few minutes to finish editing a few more from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to post. It was so great to see Kennedy actually somewhat understand the meaning of Christmas this year. Running around the house yelling “happy birthday baby Jesus!” was just priceless. And listening to her read us the Story of Christmas each night was heart warming. I love that she’s learning the true meaning of Christmas and why we celebrate…not just that it’s all about presents. My favorite lines are without a doubt when we ask her why we give gifts are Christmas and she responds: “Because it’s baby Jesus’ birthday {duuuude}” and “to show our love”. She’s just too sweet for words.

Enjoy the pics….and Merry Christmas!

My poor Missy Lou was pushing through both bottom teeth and on the verge of tears all night. It was so terribly sad.
But after a little snacker with mom, a change into comfy cozy pjs, and snuggle time with dad, things were looking up.
Poor Alex just couldn’t get away from the Bean Monster. She truly adores her big cousin.
Then home we went to prepare the milk, cookies and carrots (for the reindeer of course) in anticipation of Santa and his crew.
And they were apparently pleased with their snacks, for they left us quite a spread…
Olivia!!
Many thanks to Bubble for Sophie the giraffe (a teething live saver) and some good old fashioned snuggles.
Thanks to Grammy for a most thoughtful handmade blankey set!
And finally…more Sophie love.
What an amazing and yet exhausting few days for all of us. I wouldn’t have traded a second of it. It was amazing to spend our first Christmas as a complete family together and soak up every moment of this amazing time of celebration.
