We had our 4 month check up a few weeks ago. Yes, I know that is how ridiculously behind I am on my blog. Unreal. I swore I wouldn’t be that mom and yet here I am, fitting a half a month of stuff into one blog post. Shame on me.
Anyhoo–4 month checkup. Miss McKenna isn’t quite the same peanut Kennedy was. She was just under 14 pounds and 24 inches long (Kennedy was just 14 pounds at 6 months). Right smack dab in the middle of the pack at 50%. Dr. Mike did his regular check up and looked to see how she was doing with her fine motor skills. I usually do the eye roll at those bragging mothers, but today, I am one of them (so eye roll away). Dr. Mike said McKenna was already displaying motor skills he looks for in 6 months old. She’s one strong cookie (as you’ll see in a later post) so he suggested we start her on cereal. She adores it…and even more so coming from her big sister. Well, at least when Bean isn’t shoving the spoon down her throat yelling “eat McKenna!”. Dinner time is a lot more fun around the Bagyi household these days…
