Someone was really shy (or “embarassed” as she would say) about their costume this year. I don’t know why because I personally thought it was beyond adorable. But she refused to keep the hat on unless I begged her. The parade was a bit overwhelming frankly…having the whole school cheering for you and wanting high fives. But all was good when she saw her big sister waiting at the bottom of the stairs for her. The way Kennedy looked at her with such pride warmed my heart…and McKennas (even if she does a good job hiding it).
