>Merry Christmas!

>Christmas was an exciting time this year! Bean still doesn’t get the concept, but she does understand presents! I think our expectations for her level of understanding were a bit high and we underestimated her ability to still become overwhelmed easily. What I failed to realize is that she wasn’t interested in tossing each toy aside to open a new one, but rather wanted everything “open da” (aka, open this) immediately. She lost interest in opening presents after the first few. I’m glad we put a few things under the tree unwrapped so she could just go at them. A few things we thought she’d love, she wasn’t so into. We thought she’d go crazy for the Elmo Live, but I think she was confused as to how he got out of the TV and into our living room so quickly…and she just stared at him with this puzzled look. Now though, she does like putting him in her stroller and wheeling him around the house. She loves her baby sleepy Sara doll and it’s given me great insight as to how she’ll behave with a new baby. I just hope she doesn’t attempt to poke out newbies eyes the way she has Baby Sara’shaha. Believe it or not, it’s two days past Christmas and she still hasn’t opened all her presents.

Though I took over 250 pictures in two days (no wonder there is only this one with me in it), I’ll only post a few of my favorites from the holiday!

Pre-Church Posin

The piggies were great while they lasted…she had taken them out and hidden the holders by the time we arrived at church. Smart lady…Celebrating with Dadda

As with most kids, the boxes were just as exciting as the toys…

Santa Tracking with Dadda

She LOVES her lady bug!

She ate like a horse! That entire sausage link, a bagel and half a donut.
Oink, Oink!

Pop being silly…as always.

Making good use out of her new table!

Having a blast dancing to the Wiggles!

Finishing off the Holiday relaxing on her kick ass new bean bag chair with her favorite food ever…Cheese!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!!
