>To fill some time while I slept last Saturday morning, John and Bean made brownies and he wanted to snap some pictures of her cuteness. Well, while I have to say I think they look snappy in black and white, they aren’t in black and white for that reason alone. Lets just say white balance isn’t John’s strong suit. Nor is manual mode on my mac daddy camera. So I got quite an earful about how obnoxiously difficult my camera is to use and how unfair it is that I’m the only one who can take decent family pictures, bladdy, blah, blah. So after a week or so of racking my brain on how I’m going to afford to buy him the Canon G11 (which is the “point and shoot” I usually recommend for those looking for a great camera, but not ready for a DSLR) it dawns on me that um, duh…I still have my old Rebel sitting completely idle begging to be used (if only on auto). John is now rocking his very own camera. I think he even moved it to the “P” mode for a few shots. So without further ado, I am proud to officially welcome JMB photo to the blog (with a minor credit to myself for some touch-up edits)…
